Product Description
18. The solution: water (1) – formic acid (2) at 293 K and 1 atm has a mass density of 1039.4 kg/m3 with a mass fraction of the second component of 0.16. Under the same conditions, the mass density of pure water is 998.2 kg/m3, and pure formic acid is 1219.6 kg/m3. Determine: 1) the molar mass of the solution; 2) the molar volume of the solution; and 3) the molar change in volume upon mixing?
