Product Description
1. A 0.2500 g sample of titanium-containing alloy was dissolved and diluted with distilled water in a measuring flask to 100 cm3. The corresponding reagents were added to 25.00 cm3 of the resulting solution and diluted to 50 cm3, which yielded a yellow compound. The optical density of the resulting solution was 0.220. A solution containing 0.20 mg of titanium was added to another 25.00 cm3 portion and processed in the same way as the first solution. The optical density of this solution was 0.500. Determine the titanium content in the alloy (w, %).
