Product Description
12. Two samples of process water, V ml each, were transferred to separatory funnels. 10.0 ml of a solution with a concentration of Cst mg/l xanthate were added to one of the samples, and 10.0 ml of water to the other. Nickel sulfate and the necessary reagents were added to each sample, and nickel xanthate was extracted several times with 1.5 ml of toluene. The extracts were collected and the volumes were brought to 250.00 ml with toluene. The resulting solutions were photometrically measured to obtain Ax and Ax st. Calculate the concentration (mg/l) of xanthate in industrial water using the following data:
Option V, ml Cst, mg/l Ax Ax st
1 100 50 0.180 0.560
2 200 5 0.300 0.630
3 25 300 0.280 0.740
