Product Description
12. The molar heat capacities at constant volume for hydrogen, oxygen and water vapor have the following values:
CvH2=18.97 3.26*10-3T 0.502*105T-2 J/(mol*K)
CvO2=23.15 3.39*10-3T -3.77*105T-2 J/(mol*K)
CvH2O=21.7 10.71*10-3T 0.33*105T-2 J/(mol*K)
The specific heat of combustion of hydrogen (into liquid water) at 0 C is -142.2 kJ/g. The specific heat of evaporation of water at 0 C is 2551 J/g. Calculate the molar heat of formation of water vapor at 100 C.
