Product Description
135. When analyzing soda ash used to obtain sulfite acid on a sodium base, a sample of it equal to 1.208 g was dissolved in a volumetric flask with a capacity of 200 cm3. An aliquot of 5 cm3 was transferred to the capacitive cell of a high-frequency titrator and titrated with 0.10008 mol/dm3 HCl solution. Determine the percentage of Na2CO3 in the sample if, according to the high-frequency titration curve, 4.8 cm3 of HCl was required to neutralize CO32 ions to H2CO3.
