Product Description
4. When standardizing a 0.1 mol/l solution of sodium methoxide according to the method of State Fund XI, 8.05 ml of the prepared titrated solution was used for titration of an accurate weighed portion of benzoic acid (Mr 122.12) weighing 0.1012 g. Give equations for the chemical reactions that occur. Calculate the correction factor of the sodium methoxide solution, provide a calculation for bringing K to normal if a sample of metallic sodium weighing 1.15 g was taken to prepare 0.5 liters of the specified titrated solution.
