Product Description
6. When determining zinc in aluminum intended for the manufacture of beer cans, a calibration graph was built using the method of atomic absorption spectroscopy according to the following data:
C(Zn), µg/cm3 0, 0.5 0.8 2.0
Number of photometer scale divisions (285.2 nm) 14.0 23.0 32.6 81.5
A weighed portion of the analyzed metal (weighing 0.6055 g) was dissolved in a mixture of acids, transferred to a volumetric flask with a capacity of 100.0 cm3, and diluted with distilled water to the mark. Atomic absorption under the conditions of photometry of the standard solution was 28.0 divisions of the instrument scale. Find the mass fraction of zinc in aluminum.
