The released hydrogen sulfide was absorbed by a mixed solution of cadmium and zinc acetates. The precipitated solution was treated with 20 ml of iodine solution and finally the excess iodine was titrated with 5.1 ml of thiosulfate solution. Calculate the percentage of sulfur in steel if the titer of iodine for sulfur is 0.000802 g/ml and 1 ml of iodine solution is equivalent to 1.022 ml of thiosulfate.
