Product Description
9. A solution with a mass fraction of potassium hydroxide of 0.1818% was subjected to electrolysis between platinum electrodes. After electrolysis, 64.5 g of the cathode solution contained potassium hydroxide with a mass of 0.1256 g, while the concentration of the middle part of the electrolyte did not change. In a silver coulometer during electrolysis, an amount of silver was deposited, equivalent to 0.0310 g of KOH. Determine the transfer numbers of K+ and OH ions.
