Product Description
3. When determining cadmium in wastewater, nine times the volume of the organic reagent L with a concentration of 1.0 * 10-3M is added to the analyzed solution and the absorption of the resulting CdL22 complex is measured in cuvettes l=1.00 cm at λ=610 nm. The absorption of a solution prepared by mixing a cadmium salt solution containing 2.81 μg of metal in 1 ml and a reagent solution was found to be 0.150. The absorption of the reagent solution at λ=610 nm is 0.04. Calculate the molar absorption coefficients of the complex of cadmium and organic reagent at the specified wavelength.
