Product Description
9. Give the reaction equations for the quantitative determination of ftivazide (Mg C14H13N3O3 289.29; MgH20 18.0) by non-aqueous titration in formic acid and acetic anhydride. Specify an indicator. Explain the need for a control experiment.
Calculate the molar mass of the equivalent in terms of an anhydrous substance, the content of ftivazide in the analyzed sample in terms of dry matter (mass loss on drying 6.5%), if 5.4 ml of 0.1 mol was used to titrate a sample weighing 0.15015 g /l perchloric acid solution (K = 0.98), in the control experiment - 0.15 ml.
Does the analyzed sample of ftivazide meet the requirements of the API (in terms of dry matter of at least 98.0%)?
