Workshop on problem solving No. 2. Topic 3. Strategic analysis.
Trainees need to demonstrate the ability to conduct PEST analysis of the external environment of the organization.
For this, students are offered
1. Select a modern Russian company as an example (a conditional example is allowed) and briefly describe it: type of economic activity, industry, mission, territorial location, approximate number of employees, etc.
2. Describe PEST environmental factors and the nature of their influence.
3. Assess the strength of each factor on the organization's activities.
4. Assess the likelihood of changing factors in a strategic perspective.
5. Determine the mutual influence (positive and negative) from among the factors that received the highest ratings.
6. Based on the results of the analysis, prepare conclusions.
