High mineralization of water is unfavorable for the flora and fauna of water bodies, reduces the ability of water to self-purify under the influence of biological factors and, in addition, sharply worsens the taste of water. At a content of 500 mg/l of sulfates or 350 mg/l of chlorides, the water acquires a bitter-salty taste. Calculate the molar concentration of: a) sulfate ions; b) chloride ions - in such water.
