Product Description
8. To determine the content of palladium(II) in solution by the fixed time method, we used the reduction reaction of arsenic acid with tin(II) chloride catalyzed by palladium(II) compounds. The optical densities of standard solutions, measured 3 min after the start of the reaction, turned out to be equal:
Сpd*107, g/ml 6.0 8.0 10.0 12.0 14.0
А3min 0.22 0.29 0.36 0.43 0.5
To carry out the reaction with a test solution of 25.0 ml, it was diluted with water to 1000 ml, then 10.0 ml of the resulting solution was again brought to a volume of 1000 ml. Determine the content of the optical density measured 3 minutes after the start of the reaction:
Option 1
A3 min 0.33
