Product Description
8. For a given galvanic cell (table 4.3):
1) identify the anode and cathode;
2) write the equations for the processes occurring at the anode and cathode in a working galvanic cell. Write down the equation of the current-generating reaction;
3) taking the concentration of ions at the cathode 10-2 mol/l and the anode 10-3 mol/l, partial gas pressures p = 1 atm, calculate the electromotive force of the galvanic cell and the Gibbs energy of the current-generating process in this galvanic cell.
Table 1.4.3 Options for task 1.4.2
Variant number Galvanic couple
8 H2,Pt/H // Cl-/Cl2,Pt
