Product Description
85. Calculate the average shift x of spherical sand particles in water (i.e. displacement in 1 s due to thermal movement) and sedimentation rate under the following conditions: temperature T = 293 K, viscosity of the dispersion medium η = 1 10-3 Pa s ; sand density ρ =2 103 kg/m3, dispersion medium density ρо=1 103 kg/m3. Compare the sedimentation stability of disperse systems with particle sizes of 10-5 m (coarse-dispersed system) and 10-8 m (colloidal system).
