📂 Coursework 👤 Derkach

Product Description

14. A galvanic cell without transfer is composed of hydrogen and chlorine electrodes immersed in an aqueous solution of HCl acid with a concentration of 500 mol/m3. Gaseous hydrogen is passed in the hydrogen electrode at a pressure of 1.9 atm, and chlorine in the chlorine electrode at a pressure of 1.7 atm.
Temperature 298 K.
Necessary
1) write down the GE scheme;
2) write down the reactions occurring on the electrodes and the current-forming reaction;
