Product Description
14. For the photometric determination of molybdenum in a mineral with dithiol, a standard solution of ammonium molybdate was prepared by dissolving 0.1000 g of it in 500 cm3. Aliquots of solution (V) were adjusted to 50 cm3 after treatment with the reagent. Measurement data are given:
V, cm3 0.5 1 1.5 2.0
A 0.231 0.465 0.690 0.940
Determine the content of Mo03 in the mineral, if a sample of 0.2400 g is taken for analysis, dissolved in 100 cm3. The same reagent was added to an aliquot of it, equal to 10 cm3, the volume was brought to 50 cm3. The optical density of such a solution will be equal to 0.510.
