56. Solving a chemistry problem

📂 Coursework 👤 Derkach

Product Description

6. When measuring the viscosity of solutions of a polymer sample in carbon tetrachloride using a capillary viscometer, the following data were obtained:
s, g/cm3 0 1.70 2.12 2.52 2.92 3.40
Solution outflow time, s 97.6 115.1 120.2 124.5 129.9 134.9
Calculate the values of the relative, specific, reduced viscosity of the solutions and plot the dependence ηsp/s=f(c). Determine the intrinsic viscosity [η] and calculate the molecular weight of the polymer. K = 1.8 * 10–5, α = 1.00.
