Product Description
45. A solution containing a mixture of FeCl3 and K2Cr2O7 was brought to a volume of 100 ml and titrated iodometrically in two separate samples (20 ml aliquots). For the titration of the first sample, 21.72 ml of 0.020 N was used. Na2S2O3 solution, which corresponds to the sum of Fe and Cr. Sodium pyrophosphate was added to the second sample to bind Fe3 into the complex, and 10.35 ml of Na2S2O3 solution of the same concentration was used for its titration. Calculate the mass of Fe and Cr in solution.
