The Dark Pictures Anthology is a series of intense cinematic horror games with a branching plot, where your decisions determine the development of events.

House of Ashes is the third game in the series.

Iraq, 2003. The conflict is nearing its end, and a squad of soldiers, accompanied by CIA agent Rachel King, is tasked with checking a potential chemical weapons factory at the foot of the Zagros Mountains.

Upon arrival, the search party is ambushed by a local patrol led by Sergeant Salim Othman.

During the battle, an earthquake causes a hole to form on the surface, and both parties find themselves in the buried ruins of a Sumerian temple, where something sinister has awakened in the darkness. The ancient, insatiable creatures have new prey.

The party will have to face terrifying discoveries and make impossible decisions as they try to escape the underground labyrinth.

Will they choose to survive at any cost, or put aside old feuds and unite with their recent enemies?
