The water sampling board with a door is developed according to OST 108.030.04-80 “Device for sampling steam and water of stationary steam boilers. Types, design, dimensions and technical requirements.
Shields for water sampling are also called shields with a drain trough, a pallet.
If the sampled medium has a high temperature, then sampling refrigerators are installed in front of the sampling panels.
The shield is installed near the main technological installations, for ease of operation and maintenance, mainly these are walk-through marches of the boiler and turbine shop. Therefore, sampling shields are considered express laboratories for chemical analysis and control.
